Classic Car Insurance

Insuring your classic car is essential not just for the peace of mind it provides, but so that your invaluable treasure is safe, sound and well-looked after.

Vintage or classic cars are highly popular among car connoisseurs. Classic cars are maintained as keepsakes but are also used for rallies, track days and other special events. Classic cars are generally grouped more or less by the year of manufacture. The general classification is broadly based on the fact that a car has been built pre-1930 while those manufactured between 1930 and WW2 is generally termed as Post Vintage.

Classic car insurance is an extremely niche area of insurance in the motor insurance category, hence there are only a few specialized insurers who cater to this segment. It is therefore advisable to approach a specialized insurance advisor to purchase classic car insurance.

Purchasing classic car insurance is not very different from purchasing other types of insurance. To ensure that you get a good deal, it is important that you do your homework before inking the dotted line. Make sure you get the best possible deal.
